While traveling and doing outdoors and street photography there is always the element of a risk happening including, but not limited to, personal injury, death, illness, error, omission, delay, mishap, loss or damage to personal property. By joining and accepting our terms to any of our International Photo Workshops (IPW) participants accept these risks and releases Photo International Workshop, staff, assistants, third business partners or participating agents from any liability/claim while taking full understanding of all risks by you and your heirs, administrator, executor, successors, and assign for all family members.
Participant Health & Physical Level
Many places that we travel will require a good amount of hiking or serious activity. All photo participants must be healthy and physically capable of taking part in the workshop while carrying your photo equipments without creating a risk for you, the group or workshop staff. It is the participant’s responsibility to obtain information about any workshop content, requirements, risks, or any strenuous hiking involved prior to the time of registration.
Our travel workshops may offer spontaneous moments when other alternatives will be offered. So bear in mind that the workshop description is a template of what may take place. So be ready to go with the flow of the moment.
A deposit of $1,000.00 per participant must be paid to guarantee your reservation, which will be used towards the cost of the workshop.
All the workshop prices are listed on our site. At any time reserve the right to change any of the prices, and the trip itinerary or the number of students as mentioned in our website, in emails or printed material. The cost for each workshop is listed on the individual workshop description page. If you wish to bring a non photographer friend or a spouse we welcome that but they must pay their own way since they are considered a participant. We will give you a discount.
IPW is not responsible for cancellations by the workshop participants due to any reason, act of nature, home emergency, any medical situation, employment or change in political climate. We recommend you buy refundable air ticket or travel insurance.
Under any condition workshop fees are not transferable and we are not liable or will give any refunds for any unused or missed classes or daily activity for any reason at all. We must be notify via email, using the date it was sent to us, to decide what refunds, if any, you maybe entitle to.
If you cancel 90 days prior to departure we will reimburse all your payment except $1,000 administrative fee use to which is use to pay in advance other participating partners/vendors in those nations . Withdraw more than 89 to 60 days prior to departure day we will reimburse you 50% of workshop/trip fee. Withdraw in 59 days or less before departure day unfortunately there will be not refunds at all.
If a participant in the waiting list fills your spot then we will reimburse all of the payment except for any fees paid for the visa/travel/paperwork.
We must be notify via email, using the date it was sent to us, to decide what refunds, if any, you maybe entitle to. Participants must make sure they receive a confirmation of their withdrawn from IPW. Only this will validate that their cancellation request has been received and processed.
As working professional photographers an important photo shoot may arrive where the
workshop would have to be postpone or cancel. This will be a rare situation but if the master
instructor becomes ill or unavailable for any reason the workshop date agree we will immediately inform all the participants with the options of having the workshop been taught by another highly accomplish photographer or the choice to withdraw for a full refund including the deposit fees.
Photo International Workshop has the right to to cancel the trip any time prior to the workshop/trip departure date, for any reason, such as, low enrollment. In case of such a cancellation a full refund of all funds paid to IPW will be given. However, we are not responsible for any expenses such as, but not limited to, non-refundable air tickets and accommodation deposits.
We recommend that you buy refundable plane tickets or travel insurance and full medical insurance. IPW suggest a full coverage plan for medical and dental emergencies, medical evacuation from any place, lost baggage, missed connections, and trip interruption/ cancellation. Before any overseas trip participants must send us an email with proof of that insurance and get a confirmation email from us.

By attending any of our workshops you give IPW permission to use any of your images
taken during any of our workshops or trips to be used ONLY to for the advertising, promotion, marketing and packaging of our upcoming workshops. The © of your photo work will remain with you.
If the photo workshop is canceled for any reason at all our liability is limited to the return of fees already paid. International Photo Workshop is not responsible for personal injuries, accidents or any equipment lost or damaged during the workshop. Your registration to any of our workshops/trips releases IPW, or any person, partners or third party agent affiliated with the organization anywhere in the world, from any liability. And IPW is not responsible for reimbursement of travel expenses in case a workshop is canceled. due to an act of nature or change in political climate. We recommend you buy refundable air ticket or full travel insurance.
